Ms. Verlene Evans
Administrative Assistant
With over 30 years of experience providing personal caregiver services to family members' infants and children,
Mrs. Evans has always been passionate about children. Mrs Evan states that “as a teacher, I find it uplifting and rewarding to watch how much they can learn from their students.”
Ms. Aluniquah Brown
Teacher
Aluniquah Brown (Ms. Brown) has over ten years of experience. According to Aluniquah Brown (Ms. Brown), children are a great source
of joy as well as an opportunity to participate in their education. There is no doubt that Ms. Brown is a very outspoken individual with a huge personality. Throughout her career, Ms. Brown has been passionate about embracing beauty and promoting self-confidence. “Whether it is helping a child become confident when reading or helping a person overcome self-esteem issues. “I am proud of who I am and what I do.”
Mr. Jonathan Alston
Teacher Assistant Liaison
Currently, Mr. Alston is an employee at Visions Educational Academy, where he has been for four years. In his previous
capacity as a Lead Teacher’s Assistant (volunteer) at Visions Educational Academy, Alston has considerable experience working with youth. Additionally, Alston is a Lead Tutor Assistant at Visions Educational Learning & Tutoring Services Inc. (tutoring grades K-12th throughout Vance, Franklin, Granville, and Warren counties).
Mrs. Kristina Wilkerson
Digital Learning Assistant
Kristina Wilkerson-Blair has worked in the education industry for several years. A former board member of a local charter school.
Through community work and assistance in schools, Mrs. Blair has assisted children in achieving their goals. For many years, Ms. Blair has worked hard to ensure that children get a great education in order to become successful. With the goal of advocating for every child, I entered the field of education. Keeping my motto in mind, every successful person has faced a number of rejections before they heard “yes”! Consequently, “keep pushing forward, and you will succeed!”
